Difficult place to grow

Work environment and management need a massive improvement. High volume production based work environment with some help. However only certain management will boost you to do better while the others insult you and bring you down for your next calls

Pros

Bonuses

Cons

Everything else

I love my job here

I work with Sirius xm and the supervisors and management are amazing, they are always there to help and very patient. I had no sales experience and they trained me and coached me until I could sell. And I love them like family.

Pros

Amazing management, friendly work environment, fun incentives

Cons

Pressure for sales

Okay if you are just starting in call centre. If not it’s not worth it

I will start with some of the good things. Training was smooth, the trainers were good, they did explain and went in great detail to explain how things will work. Plus they provided the equipment for work from home. Cons Went down hill from the day after training. Supervisors are weird, passive aggressive, all they care about is sales. Nothing else. Not checking up on you. The equipment they provide has issues. So if you tell them it takes them weeks to fix it and then your hours are cut off for the time your equipment is getting fixed. Left in the dark most of the times People who got hired and trained with me are good. You have to ask multiple times to get something done by the supervisors. Getting paid minimum wage, the stress, the mental toll it takes is definitely not worth it.

Don't waste your time

What is the best part of working at the company?Working from home and that if I miss time I can make it upWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company? Not nearly enough training or support once you start making callsWhat is the work environment and culture like at the company?Seems like it's impossible to get help from anyone and you are just a number. Pay is not near enough for the amount of stress. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Sign in, have a 5 minute meeting where you just listen to the team leader rant and rave about sales all while we aren't even trained properly on how to follow through with a sale. Majority of calls are an answering machine or refusals. Far too many technical issues too.

Terrible

This company cuts our hours without caring about our financial issues. They are offering no compensation. They don’t care about our mental health. They only care about money.

Pros

none

Cons

everything

Its alright if you got 0 options in sydney and you're having a terrible time finding jobs

else no, you're basically cold calling and asking people to buy radio, cable service etc. people get annoyed. I worked for 2 years in AT&T and SiriusXM but left because bonus and pay went down; management and client got worse and working conditions just was not it.

Pros

you can choose your hours

Cons

messes with your head

Would not recommend working here.

Terrible pay, especially for the amount of unnecessary hoops they have you jumping through just to work. Using a virtual machine inside of a virtual machine for work is ridiculous, call software that frequently does not output audio during calls make the job nowhere near worth the wage. Training was the only halfway decent part of the job and even that was not adequate for shifting into production. Employer is so disorganized I received a text message to complete a survey that was intended for early in the hiring process AS I WAS WORKING A SHIFT.

Pros

-Nice employees

Cons

Disorganized, Low wages, awful hours, way too many programs to do simple tasks, ridiculous requirements for holiday pay

Terrible Place To Work

TLDR: needlessly complex, absolute minimum wage, poor management, blame employees for errors with company programs. The one week of training was nice but nowhere near long enough to teach people how to actually do the job. Then they have an insane amount of programs that you have to open up just to do simple tasks. And I mean to open a simulation of a computer on your own desktop in order to open two more programs in order to just open another simulation inside of that simulation. Very inefficient. They also tell you that it's not required but highly recommended to use two monitors, and then once you actually start work get mad at you because they can't monitor both of your screens for whatever reason and force you to go back to using one monitor. Making your job all the harder. Then with any kind of technical difficulties you'll be sitting on hold. Waiting for IT for upwards of three to four days. And when they do finally talk to you and try to fix the problem, they only make things worse and damage your home computer. And then management will tell you that they're going to send out a device for you to use for work after they've already cut your hours because they don't want to pay you to wait for there IT department. Than a day later they'll call you and tell you that they're letting you go because they somehow don't have any devices at all available.

Pros

Work From Home

Cons

Long Hours, Bad Pay, Poor Management, Poor Training

Dead End Retirement Jobs

Workers are squeezed of their productivity for the bare minimum pay and long-time employees are taken advantage of.Very difficult to form workplace relationships. Impossible to contact HR. Feels very isolating. Management is strict regarding clocked time. Nothing especially bad in this regard.Recruitment is simple, management is generally friendly.

Pros

Remote Work

Cons

Minimum wage with mimimal benefits. No opportunity for career growth.

A great place to start your understanding of Canadian workplace

It's really convenient and flexible. Management is helpful and empathizing. The work teaches you a lot about how to build the skill set needed to survive in the corporate workplace.

Not a fun workplace

Somtimes days seems to be very hectic and with very low pay, we need to be fully with calls with customers who dont even bother about us and we need to be patiently waiting for our time to make conversation

Great workspace and an amazing management panel

Good workplace to start your career, fixed hours and between pay and bonuses you can make a living out of it, part-time working experience is also a good experience and you get your hours completed if you are a student the University.

Fun if you are good in sales

I enjoyed my time working there. The management and supervisors are super friendly and are always there to help. I would say in sydney its worth working for this company.

Pros

Good incentives

Cons

Low base wage

Lowest paid call center

Like most call centers it’s rare you stay long with one campaign. Not their fault but this call center seemed to not have many options of campaigns, mainly lower-end brands/companies. Best part of my campaign was my trainer, she’s American and we are still in touch occasionally to this day.

Great bonuses but no lay offs

Great bonuses essentially doubling my paychecks, only stayed for 5 months as the stress of a call center gets to be too much for me to handle, supervisor told me they wouldn't lay me off, so no ei for me.

Pros

bonus pay, lots of overtime

Cons

no lay off

Alright

It is alright for a entry level job but sometimes stressful, alright pay , good bonuses plus health and dental , some good customers and bad and management is alright but could be better
