Good intentions but unsafe environment
Support Worker (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON16 April 2019
Very hardworking and dedicated front-line staff, but are often overworked and placed in unsafe situations (I.e. unregulated staff being responsible for giving medications, or nurses providing care they have not received enough training for). Good intentions to provide respite and residential care to kids, but lacking the necessary resources and staff competency.
Pros
Kids are wonderful to work with, opportunities to learn new skills
Cons
Leadership needs improvement, staff not provided lunch breaks, no overtime pay

SUPPORT WORKER (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON12 August 2017
When I first started working there it was fun but it when down hill, real quick. The best thing about this place is the kids and going out on outings. Staff and management nit pick everything, there is no advancement and the pay suck. Oh and I forgot to mention there is no job security. Workers revolve like a swinging door.

Home away from home
Residential Support Worker (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON16 January 2014
Very safe for families with children who are suffering from a mental or physical disability. It is a respite service that provides a safe home away from home for children with a mental or physical disability.

It was a an honor to work with the wonderful staff and admin staff. Especially, working with the children and their families.
