Very hardworking and dedicated front-line staff, but are often overworked and placed in unsafe situations (I.e. unregulated staff being responsible for giving medications, or nurses providing care they have not received enough training for). Good intentions to provide respite and residential care to kids, but lacking the necessary resources and staff competency.
Pros
Kids are wonderful to work with, opportunities to learn new skills
Cons
Leadership needs improvement, staff not provided lunch breaks, no overtime pay

Staff under trained and underpaid. Management right up to upper management-including the ED. Revolving door of staff-no one stayed due to poor work conditions. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly. Most unprofessional place I have ever worked. Felt sorry for the kids and their families. Stay far far away. So many better agencies out there that pay way more, offer training and support-and make you feel appreciated.
Pros
kids
Cons
management sucked.

Stressful, overwhelming and overloads the workers with tasks beyond capabilities and capacity to complete On in a reasonable time Staff are miserable and management just focuses on loading people with more work than giving staff space to work effectively and with proper training Mistakes made due to lack of training is blamed on staff competency. Staff have potential but management dies not offer proper time investment to provide good training
Pros
The kids
Cons
Management, poor training plan, unrealistic work load

While this is a decent place to bring your child for respite, working for this company is not for me. It is unorganized, unsanitary and the workers are very under appreciated.

When I first started working there it was fun but it when down hill, real quick. The best thing about this place is the kids and going out on outings. Staff and management nit pick everything, there is no advancement and the pay suck. Oh and I forgot to mention there is no job security. Workers revolve like a swinging door.

Very safe for families with children who are suffering from a mental or physical disability. It is a respite service that provides a safe home away from home for children with a mental or physical disability. It was a an honor to work with the wonderful staff and admin staff. Especially, working with the children and their families.
