Because managers are paid commission. Knowing that, if they don't make 35% margin, they don't make commission. They have base salary of $20/hr. Keeping employees means higher wages. Nothing but monkeys at the type writer. Every branch works hard for literally no profit. In the larger scheme of things, TPH is the new kinkos.

I would hire managers that were just as focused on the well being of their staff as they were on making money. We didn’t get any breaks. HR was not very helpful when I tried to switch to another branch.

Dress code is super relaxed. Dress to impress on the first day to make a good impression.. otherwise you can dress casually.
