I absolutely loved most of the staff I worked with and the job itself was not entirely difficult, as it was serving. The major downside and the reason why I left the company, however, was due to the inadequacies of the management. There were several times where the two managers would contradict each other (ex. One manager told me to not put tongs on a dish and then the other manager told me to put tongs on the dish a few minutes later). Scheduling with this restaurant was an absolute nightmare. I was lucky and they seemed to get mine right for the most part, but there were several other servers that had to remind them, almost on a weekly basis, that they had prior commitments and could not work for that particular shift. Overall, I quit because of the management issues.
