Good place to workIt's a good place to work. The staff is friendly and it's fun to work there. Pay is good and the food is great if you are on the meal plan. Also health benefits too

Horrible work placeManagement is horrible - constant mistreatment of staff, the people who work there are extremely problematic. Would not recommend working here. the starting pay is $16.50 an hour, managers only raise your pay if you are one of their favourites. Servers are not allowed to accept tips because it is a private club. The managers choose favourites and are unprofessional, talk poorly about other employees behind their back. say goodbye to seniority here, managers do not care about it because it is all based on who they like the most. i would not recommend this establishment to anyone. only good part is the hours are fine, only in the summer though and you get a good workout being there

Wouldn't advise itThis is my opinion being a server at this club. You will be grossly underpaid, overworked and under valued during your time here. Im just going to point form this in attempts to summarise. Pros: - Amazing staff members, warm energy - Beautiful environment - Opportunity to be outdoors - Opportunity to network Cons: - Poorly managed - There was always drama - Often fast paced & stressful environment (maybe its just the understaffing - 10-20 table lunch section for 1 server is not acceptable) - Learn to love stairs working here - i regularly hit 23000+ steps a shift and one or two dozen flights of stairs on my fitness tracker - The club is big and so running food and or simply getting stock can turn into a marathon. - Hours tend to be very long (8hrs with one 30 minute break. You can choose to pay about $ 5 (meal) or $ 7 ( meal and drink) dollars a shift for a meal plan which you are stuck paying even if you don’t want to eat one shift - You cannot dine in here, you eat outside or in the staffroom (basement by the laundry room) - Some members are amazing, while others tend to have a great sense of entitlement and arrogance which can become draining day in day out - Poor training for new staff - They make it difficult to get benefits - They tell the members of the club that we make the tips - this is untrue. The staff make a ‘premium wage’ (which hardly compensates you for your efforts) although they have a mandatory minimum 15%+ they charge each of those members the end of the month - Difficult to get you pay information online and pay stub - Opportunity for advancement is very low In my experience, i would advise not to waste your time when you can be making between $25-30/hr for 4-5 hours of light work a few nights a week making real tips versus versus bend over backwards for about $17/hr for 6-12 hours day. Just isn’t worth it.

Its okayNice people, great food, fine pay. The location is pretty nice - Downtown Oakville. The only thing that I didn't like that long hour, sometimes asked to work overnight which is tough.
