Always a great atmosphere balanced with fun and seriousness. Jobs don't require too much training to learn and become proficient at, which allows opportunities for advancement.
Atmosphere is very relaxed. Little to no management in the morning for back of house and they trust you to do what you need to do. Little to no micromanaging. Able to relax and eat after a shift.
Only down side is it is very cliquey. Many people have stayed for years and have kept their small friend groups. If you don't care about social politics then it won't bother you.
This is a very fast paced job which keeps work exciting. Staff is overall friendly and welcoming. Raises are not always awarded to hardworking staff. Good place to gain experience and learn how to use your time management.
Good work environment, a lot of team work and collaboration. Hours are long in the sense that you don't have a certain end time and a lot of working on your feet.
Not bad. The worse part is some of the wait staff. Everything else is nice and simple. Decent people, great managers. don't offer any hours though, don't offer advancement,
Very busy but fun, working with lots of cool people and good customers. Good tips. I learned to be patient and courteous with customers and staff. I learned all about the business of servicing a restaurant. The hardest part is sometimes it is too busy and I don't get to sit down for even 5 mins and get a break and sometimes my back hurts from carrying heavy things. The most enjoyable is working with cool people.
