There is never a dull moment at Georgetown Toyota, always things to do and run by great managers who really engage with their employees and don't just leave them in the dark.
Free birthday lunch
Slow times during the year
Stay away very unprofessional group poor training too much expected in a very short time limit. When i started my computer and phone were not working for the first week and a half. How ever I did share with other employees which was very difficult. The supervisor was also poorly trained.
Management tend to lie to achieve what they want. No respect for employees unless they need something from you. Long hours. Staff is expected to start earlier than shift stay later with not so much as a thank you. Company is very deceitful with customers. Managers look after their favorites but not the rest of the staff. Such as favored mechanics get all of the work, the rest get the low paying work. Left awhile ago, best move ever. There are many other dealerships to work at. Unless you like being lied to skip Humberview
Long weekends in the summer
No job security, no raises
This was first time i work with humberview Chevrolet buick gm I believe iam contributed to the company in culture and diversity I also believe that i have learned a lot from company in technical abilities Eventhough, i was having family issue i wanted to continue working with the humberview, some time i was doing odd jobs like removing snow which was not my job, i listened and worked with managment professional th drive a
It is a good place to work. I was on contract so I believe my pay was fair for that situation. There is little place for advancement but I heard that raises are there if you ask.
Great group of coworkers, fun environment
Closed minded, playing favourites, benefits are crazy expensive
I have a feeling the management didn’t even know what they were doing sometimes what I say would make more sense then what they’d come up with. As a lot attendant I paid extreme detail to everything and made sure everything was done right.
I was a co-op student here and I must say it was a very good experience. the other co-workers were very kind to me and offered to help me whenever i nedded it. All staff were firendly and created such a laid back, safe, but still hard working work enviorment. the manager was really kind. He treated his employees, and me like his fellow co-workers and not just people who work for him. There was some heavy lifting but that wasnt bad. I loved my time here and will never forget the great experiences. I highly recomend this place. oh, and they also have an annuel spring barbeque
Annuel spring barbeque, very friendly co-workings, easy going laid back envoirment, amazing and helpful managers
not the greatest pay, some heavy lifting
Pros: Benefits covered entirely. New Dealership and facilities. Company perks with perkopolis. VW training opportunities. Cons: Dealership management, favouritism, micro management, arrogant management. Preference of unmarried or non committal persons. Judged if working less than 12hrs a day or 6 days a week. High expectations with no support. Advice to Management Respect employees and their personal lives. Support your employees by encouraging them and not by constant criticism or threatening them with job security. Treat all employees equally.
On the surface, this should be a great company to work with, as part of the Humberview Group, but at the company level, in my opinion, they have a very poor understanding of OMVIC and its rules. Their current Business Manager lies to customers in order to sell them more products.
Good colleagues to work with.
