Best place to work in the world but sometimes sad to see sick kids
the most inspirational place on earth. I would give my right arm to work there again. As an institution Sick Kids has everything going for it. Don't work there if you want a picnic type of job. Go there if you want to go beyond the call of duty and give attention to detail and go to bat for every last child in that hospital who depends on your walk. They depend on the work you put each and every day. I realized that from day. I loved that place. The reason I don't work there anymore is because I couldn't sustain the hours to keep their equipment at my home. I was only working part time and they wanted full time. It is a magical place with a lot of very dedicated scientists, PhDs, and world renowned physicians. There is no place like it on earth.

Poor salary, good work place
The workplace is good. It is located in the core downtown. So, if you wanna stay close to it, it will cost you a lot. As you will have a poor salary, it would be tough to survive in Toronto.

Never again
Nice people who care and work there. salary not lucrative as a nurse. Bad energy on the wards/constantly overworked. No seniority, not a HOOP pension, cant contribute until you're 30 and pension is not good.

Great place to work
SickkKids is a place like no other. It was a great place to work. Always challenging, but very rewarding. Continuing education opportunities are plentiful. There is always a sense of "team" when you are working here.
