Health Care Aide in Spruce Grove, AB

Very busy, hard work.
Working 12 hour nights are long enough . Also if you are not able too keep up you get behind on your tasks due to high demands of the job. You will burn out if you say Yes to overtime and you will be called everyday for a shift to pick up after you have worked your rotation. Nurse in Stony Plain, AB

Poor management
If you want to work somewhere where management will take advantage of your kindness and compassion…this is the place. The current management does nothing to help support staff, which is badly needed post pandemic. They have sub-par staffing ratios and staff that are fighting back burnout. Nursing in Alberta

Decent job - terrible management
The residents are great and the work can be satisfying. The high turnover of management ( one more inept than the last ) leaves staff feeling unsupported and floundering. Health Care Aide in Medicine Hat, AB

Busy but the staff are great
Busy when you deal with people who have needs, but that's part of healthcare. Short staffed sometimes but your team is very helpful. Sometimes it feels like management doesn't listen, or brush you off. Casual Worker in Medicine Hat, AB

Terrible workplace environment
Very poorly managed facility. Very poor staff morale. Understaffed and underpaid. No appreciation for staff and their efforts from management. I would never recommend working within this facility to anyone. What would you say about your employer?
