Pipefitter Foreman in Sparwood, BC
on 2 March 2020
Productive and fun.
They listened to our concerns, acted on our concerns and solved those concerns. I was treated fairly. I got nightshift which is not my favorite but I did not complain. After all, they needed a nightshift foreman and it was not all that bad. Co-workers were good and management was excellent and my pay was fair.

Good pay. Toxic environment.
Gisborne pays good but the work environment itself is fairly toxic. If your an apprentice it’s not the best place to get the most out of your training. Over the two years I worked for them the majority of guys I met all commented on upper management not caring about training apprentices and just being a number to a company that doesn’t appreciate their employees.

Good corporate culture
Heavy industrial construction in the mining, resource and materials handling sector. I started my apprenticeship with this company. Excellent mentoring from veteran tradesmen.
Project Foreman in Vancouver, BC
on 6 May 2020
Negative work environment, especially management.
Worked for them for 5 years and ran multiple projects. Raised concerns during Covid and was told to throw my union in the garbage and get back to work. Was terminated after requiring a two week quarantine due to the site Foreman contaminating the entire crew. Can't say I'd recommend working for them unless you're willing to throw away your values for a few extra dollars.

What a Joke
Working with this company has been a nightmare during this coal processing plant. All forman seem to share half a brain walking around lost and clueless and are always eager to pin the blame on someone else. Workers all have sever drug/alcohol problems and are very rude and disrespectful. They cut corners every chance they get which has caused over a hundred accidents. Don't bother with this company
