Fun and Active Job for the Summer
Landscaper (Former Employee) –  Rigaud, QC27 April 2018
Work in a crew of 5 - 10 people
Performed landscaping tasks including interlock patio construction, lawn mowing, sod laying, and leveling lawns for industrial and residential properties.
The owner is a really nice guy, encourages a fun environment, and ensures everyone is treated fairly and well.
The hardest part of the job was the hours, at times you could end up only working two days due to weather in a week. Some other days you could work almost 12 hours in a single day since the following will have rain, and so you need to get as much work done as possible.
The most enjoyable part is the crew. Even though you maybe worked 12 hours in a day, everyone tries to keep an upbeat attitude and are more than happy to teach you new skills.
Pros
Fun, good pay, constantly active, learning practical skills
Cons
Weather dependent
