Challenging but enjoyable

a typical day would be answering 'phone calls from customers with complaints or hotel managers with maintenance issues.
Undertaking any admin. that needed to be done.
Preparing payrolls for entry onto Sage, updating personnel records, reconciliation of hotel and pub accounts using Excel. All of this was done to a tight time scale as payroll and hotel commissions had to be processed for BACS run on a Wednesday afternoon.
Occasionally checking sub contractor time sheets and entering on Sage CIS system. assisting with purchase ledger entries onto Sage.
I enjoyed all of my work even though sometimes it was stressful having to ensure deadlines were met for people to be paid.
There were only 6 of us in the office but we were a great team.
