Horrifying Place to Work

Personal Assistant (Former Employee) - Vaughan, ON - 14 June 2022

I worked for 2 days and quit. This place is so horrifying, I felt like cryingIt is a fearful place, you will feared to come to work daily and your energy will be drained. The days are long as you will work long hours with no overtime pay or time offThe hardest part of the job is being micromanagement. You will be micromanaged on all your work and will get screamed at if it is not perfect.I felt like I was in a prison as there is was no freedom on how to complete the work or tasks. You will be required to use Microsoft task bar to complete all your workSome day you will be expected to work 12 hours without any overtime or time off in lieuYou cannot talk to your colleagues as they want it to be extremely silentYour desk has to be cleared at all times; you cannot even have your pen or book. You cannot have drinks or foods at your deskYou are not allowed to use your personal phone for any matter except on your lunch breakThis is the worst place I worked, I cried myself to sleep on my first day

A lot of Micromanaging. You will be micromanaged on daily basis, and will be forced to use Microsoft task bar to complete your workBe expected to stay back and work late without getting any over time pay or time off in lieu. Also get yelled at on a daily basis to the point that you feel like crying when you go home.If you call in sick and are actually sick, they will not pay for it and deduct it from your pay.They are no medical or denial benefits that are stated in the contract. They also promise to give you a $1,500 signing bonus which is never paid out. They try to manipulate this in order for you to sign the contact, and guarantee the payout after your 3 month probation which you will never receive.Pease do not waste your time and energy here, you will regret it. This is not a healthy environment as it will deteriorate your mental health

Stressful No Work & Life Balance

You will get yelled at for every little thing. Your energy is always drained that it comes to the point that you feel like crying everyday.There is no Work/Life balance. You will be expected to stay late hours without any overtime pay or lieu days off. Some days you might be working a 12 hour shift. You cannot go home, and if you do, you get penalized for it.There is a $1,500 signing bonus which you never receive. It is all a trick to make you sign the contract and then you never get paid out.The culture here is awful, everyone gossips and talks about each other.There is little to no training provided, you have to learn everything on your own. There is no organization, no software to track your work. Everything is done using Microsoft Office 365You will be micro managed for the smallest possible task.There are also no medical and dental benefits

Productive and fun workplace

A typical day at work is completing my start and end of day checklist, planning my day and working on projects. Because TBGOC has diverse products and services that they offer to their clients, you get to learn so much about real estate, mortgages, lending and legal matters! No other company you could work for can provide such a wide range of industries you could learn from. Truly one of a kind. If you are hard working, dedicated and like to be challenged this is the right place for you!

Growing & Productive Enviroment

Feels great in a growing atmosphere. Never a dull moment and always in a learning mindset. Not a environment for laid back, non team member employee. Like any company, could be better but always room for improvement and not all positions, companies are for everyone. I would highly recommend working at The BridgGroup if you are ambitious, have good work ethic and ready to learn!Oh ya....management treats the staff to lunch, prizes, gifts, awards and rewards! Appreciation is felt all around.

To a lot of companies you are just another number, working for a small business really has its advantages. You are genuinely cared for and your grow is what is important. All staff work great together and I really enjoy coming into work each day. If your looking for a great experience, this is it.

Fast paced environment
