Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedWorking at TAG was a good opportunity for me to develop my sales skills and grow professionally. It takes some time to grasp but once you understand the products you’re a lot more confident. Training everyday really helped.

The best thing ever happened to me
Marketing Manager (Current Employee) - Calgary, AB - 10 April 2023
1.Numero Uno pro of working here is that I am my own boss. I can choose at what pace i want to grow my self. In about 1 year and 3 months I promoted myself twice from Junior Marketing Consultant to Senior Marketing Consultant and Now to Marketing Manager. 2.The environment is such that any body from any part of the world gets welcomed with open arms and adjusts very easily. 3. Since the last 1 year of inflation, this is the only company which guarantees me to earn uncapped commission, if I was working somewhere else i dont think that I would have been able to overcome my monthly expenses. 4. Unmatched perks and spiff. Since last 1 year I have travelled to all expense paid trips to MEXICO(twice), Vegas. They reward their high performers like anything. This is the thing that lets me work everyday 5. Last but not the least, the amount of support the higher management does for its employees is highly commendable
Pros
Bonuses, perks, all expense paid trips, uncapped commission
Cons
long working hours at times

A place to build a career
Sr. Sales Manager (Current Employee) - Kelowna, BC - 10 April 2023
I started with the B2B side of the Acquisition Group in Sept of 2020 and it was the best professional move I've made. I've stayed with the company through this time because of 4 reasons: 1. Culture - The people I work with I consider some of my best friends. 2. Training - I am provided with daily training and support to level up my skills and have a consistent cycle of improvement 3. Growth opportunity - I was able to move from a Jr sales rep all the way to Sr. Sales Manager in the short amount of time I worked here. The Acquisition Group promotes based on performance not seniority so if you do all the right things and work hard you can promote yourself faster than a typical organization. 4. Earning potential - With an uncapped commission structure, I've been able to earn more than I would every have been able to working for an hourly wage.
Pros
Uncapped earning potential

Fantastic place to work!
Sr. Operations Manager (Current Employee) - Calgary, AB - 10 April 2023
I have been working at The Acquisition Group for the last 2.5 years and it has been a fantastic experience. I have been very fortunate to work with a wide range of team members, each of who are passionate about what they do and provide valuable insight. I have been able to grow and develop personally and professionally a ton since starting with them. I would highly recommend this company if you are a driven professional who wants to grow!!
Pros
Incredible team members, fun work environment

Door to door telecom sales
Junior Marketing Consultant (Former Employee) - Mississauga, ON - 17 March 2023
Not a great place to work despite the hiring manager's lofty promises. The expectation is to be at the office for 11 am and get to leave at 9 pm. They have one manager doing his best with no support from the main companies office in BC. Disappointing role with no clear advancement structure.
Pros
nothing
Cons
very long hours, somedays might not make a sale which means you make no money.

competitive and comissioned
Marketing Consultant (Former Employee) - Calgary, AB - 16 March 2023
A very competitive company to work for but if you're able to pull sales, it all becomes worth it. Work can be a little too much to bear sometimes. overall a good place to learn people skills.

Commission pay with frequent onsite workshop
Senior Marketing Consultant (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 4 March 2023
They have no base pay, all wages were commission only. Workshop was held on a daily basis, you can learn basic product info every day. No employee benefits at the beginning Outside turfing and doorknocking were hard

Fully commission based and long hours
Junior Marketing Consultant (Current Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 11 January 2023
This is a fully commission based job. This job depends on the seasons a lot. In the winter it is a total waste of time and money. There are many days you need to knock peoples doors in freezing cold and face rude customers, and get make no money at all. During the summer it is a bit better. The management is ok but communication is awful.
Pros
Nice office
Cons
Long hours, no base pay

You are free labour
Junior Marketing Consultant (Former Employee) - Vancouver, BC - 9 December 2022
Junior marketing consultants don’t go around doing door to door sales especially ones with degrees. Also if they paid minimum wage they wouldn’t make you work 10 hours and no weekend.
Pros
Young colleges
Cons
Zero pay

Fun people to work with but you should be patient
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Calgary, AB - 9 December 2022
I joined this job as part time but turned into fulltime. It’s a 100% commission job. So you get whatever you work for. The co workers are nice and friendly because everyone is literally working for themselves which is great so no competition. But you often collide with your co-workers on the same clients as there is no record that this representative is dealing with this client and so. Working from home is advertised but not preferred. I would recommend it as a full time job if you are really good at sales. I’m not talking about retail sales or food sales or car sales. This is a company that has a parent company who’s products you are gonna endorse and sell majorly by cold calling. So cold calling should be your strongest aspect.
Pros
Punctual schedule 8/9 am to 5 pm, paid on time
Cons
Management is funny, lots of things that need attention.

Crazy growth opportunity!!!
Manager (Current Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 7 December 2022
TAG has been home for me for the past 3 years and I have been able to make many connections within the business and grow to a managerial position while in school. The opportunities to make money are infinite and the most enjoyable part of the job would be meeting new people and seeing happy customers!
Pros
Inclusive environment
Cons
Long hours

Immense opportunity for growth and a team you can call family!
Recruitment Specialist (Current Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 3 December 2022
Since the time I have worked here, one of the most prominent things I have noticed is the Team and the culture. The people and the workplace culture is very supportive and loving, it helps you develop a sense of belonging. Everyone on the team is very helpful, if you have questions or if you feel like you are struggling you can easily speak with either your seniors or teammates and they will always be there to provide you a word of encouragement and help with the situation. I have been given the opportunity to patriciate in new tasks and take them on.
Pros
team nights/dinners, celebrations in the office, great teammates and seniors
Cons
fast paced
