An normal day working at Terra Restaurants quite frankly is never just normal. Generally in the restaurant business, with countless variables which could cause a chain reaction of disasters, staying on top of your game is a must. Anything less than your best can result in a numerous amounts of unhappy guests. Terra is classified as a fine dining restaurant, so of course high-end clients would always be on site. It is crucial to have strong communication between all positions within the restaurant. As a server you must meet with guests, make sure they are comfortable and also communicate with the chefs all within a timely manner. Working as a team gets the job done, but working as family creates a fantastic atmosphere, one that will have guests wanting to return; which is most important. Knowing that you have made your guests having an enjoyable dinner is very satisfying.
