Data Entry (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 23 June 2017
They offered great benefits, flexible work weeks and a good salary.
Management had an open-door policy.
Always considering new initiatives to keep staff morale positive. Always considered new, exciting ways to award staff. Sometimes the work got boring and repetitive. Allowed staff flexibility to create ways to combat boredom and fatigue.
They are socially responsible. In knowing the project would eventually come to end, they took upon themselves, the responsibility to offer retraining and education reimbursement, offer resume help, cover letter help, job search help and even held a job fair exclusively for the members it was losing.
Very supportive, flexible hours
High-School mentality, focus on popularity rather than merit.
Manager, Desktop Services (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 14 May 2019
Teranet is a secure place to work with lots of opportunity, but the work life balance within the IT team is not healthy. They are pushing employees beyond normal expectation, with little thanks or compensation.
System Analyst/Developer (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 25 March 2019
The development environment here is productive, however some technologies are quite dated. Most in the IT department are senior level and have been with the company a long while. Management is good and work life balance is manageable.
