21 questions about working at Tenaris
Terrible, you try to be helpful and go that extra mile, you get in trouble. You try to speak to the office people who rarely get out of their chairs or go outside, you get in trouble. Looked down on if you work outside in the yard, very cliquey & unfriendly. When you speak with HR they are the worst, they don’t care about anyone that isn’t management, and remind you that you are lucky to have a job when you have any complaints or suggestions. Your jobs only safe if your sleeping with someone above you, Sadly that is the case when it comes to tenaris. I would never recommend to anyone to work there

Through board room meetings or written and verbal communication with staff.

We were told that we needed to ask in advance for a sick day, we were written up if we had a sick day and called into our manager. If we did it more than once, if you got the flu or a chest infection or something more then once a year, you get a suspension without pay. Sick days don’t exist with Tenaris.

I think when someone else, another more competent company comes along with better quality products, which isn’t going to be hard. Tenaris will close down their branch in Beinfait, they do not have any support for the surrounding community’s. Other company’s hate going to the yard, because they have no idea what they are doing. The Oil field company’s and employees, will not put up with Tenaris for long. They wonder why they can’t retain any employees, they need to do some revaluations when it comes to HR and management. Get someone in there that knows what they are actually doing.
