Customer Service Representative (CSR) (Former Employee) – Burnaby, BC – 17 May 2018
Great pay and benefit for this type of job. Great job opportunity for advancement within the company. Union protected so you will never need to worry about loosing the job without a reasonable explanation.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 18 January 2018
every morning started off with a serial count of inventory, then you would return missed calls from the previous evening, recieve stock and enter it in to the system, sell phones, accesories, and insurance to the customer. handle repairs and trouble shooting. and complete your paper work for the day and head home.
the manager and co-workers were great fun and easy to get along with. the hardest part of the job was probably dealing with upset customers (irate customers sometimes). the most enjoyable part of the job was find the right product and plan for a customer and seeing them walk away happy.
Salary and benefits are great, possibility to work from home. Shifts for the most part are late unless you have over 10 years of seniority. You are treated like a robot with no feelings and just a number. Many jobs are now sent to Telus International, quality of service has decreased and wait times have increased as we are understaffed.
Business Analyst Intern (Former Employee) – Vancouver, BC – 12 January 2018
TELUS is a great place to work. A lot is demanded of each team member and a lot of flexibility with teleconferencing and working from home or anywhere in the world.
Team work is highly encouraged and there is a lot of collaboration between different business units to meet the customer needs. People are very helpful and approachable from different departments.
It is difficult to impress people and show off your individual contribution however when you do impress and achieve beyond expectation , TELUS encourages a culture of high reward and recognition for your hard work.
High employee engagement
Intense competition and stakes are high when you make mistakes
Great place to work, micromanaging from upper management
Communication Technician (Current Employee) – Calgary, AB – 8 January 2018
Great pay and benefits. Company provided vehicle for technicians. Lots of OT available. Management micromanages too much. Managers tell you how to do your job but don't even know how to do the job itself. Great co workers make it hard to leave. TELUS prefer call centre managers over candidates with more relevant working experience in the field.
Sales Coordinator (Business Sales Support) (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 4 January 2018
I love working for TELUS; the management team is FANTASTIC. I have never worked with such an AMAZING team before; my coworkers are supportive; management always has my back and the culture is wonderful!!! The only con is that my position is contracted.
