It's a call center dealing with Internet services. Depending on the call type determines what you do with the customer, be it sales or troubleshooting a problem with the service.

This job pays well with the pay increasing quickly, offers learning opportunities in the various departments, is full time and includes paid vacation and benefits.
The hours kind of suck, 24/7 every day except Christmas.

Overall, good experience- plenty of learning opportunities.

It's exactly what you expect. Terrible customers, high stress environment with inadequate pay, and management having an attitude of bottom line, ensuring that customers are screwed out of their money for no reason.

You can be fired at any point for little to no reason as well. They just have to pull 3 bad calls that don't make their arbitrary metric which is really easy to do as a quality guy. So make sure you're nice to them otherwise they'll just pull every bad call they can find and make sure you get fired.

This is a great place to work however the hours are long and you usually are sitting down. I need to move around in order to feel productive at work. The company thinks very highly of their employees.

I would not recommend this place of employment to anyone. The pay is decent, as there aren't may options in this region. Seniority does not matter. Someone that started working a few months ago is treated the same or better than someone that has given 6 years to the company. People that get the furthest are those that are fake and willing to engage in company politics.

The more people you know the better it is to work there. Free snacks and drinks. Unpaid breaks so get paid for 8 work for 9 just to obtain breaks. If you're not involved youre not included.

Answering calls all day for people ordering services, complaining about services being cancelled because they didn't pay, etc. Hardest part is people yelling at you for something you have no control over (i.e. the customer not paying for their service so it got disconnected, services going down due to transponders going out, etc). I found no good thing about working there, except the management were great people. You couldn't pay me enough to spend 12 hours a day sitting in one spot, staring at a computer screen, having people scream at you all day, again.

I love working with computers, and resolving difficult situations. The environment at Teksavvy is great. True team work and family environment, despite growing vastly over the last two years or so.

The hardest part of our jobs is probably the fact that we do not have complete coverage, therefore cannot supply internet to every customer that calls.


The best part of my job, is that great customer satisfaction, and knowing that a situation has been resolved and everyone involved is happy,

Handled approx 30-40 calls per day
Assisted customers get setup for internet, and phone service

Management worked with you, any personal issue that came up they were accommodating

Co-workers were fun to work with, we all work together well.

There were days that the calls came back to back so didn't get a chance to take a breath sometimes

I enjoyed talking to the customers and helping them, enjoyed working with my co-workers
