Not the best place to work
Their customer service management team was a clique that ran the place to the ground. The director who managed customer service was not a good leader and lots of favoritism was shown to men of the same race and back ground. Architecture Contracts in Vancouver, BC

Disgraceful representation of a public regulator
I would have never believed it until I worked at TSBC that the leadership takes pride at collecting fees and finding ways to not inspect anything. The leadership are passionate about woke culture and whatever political agenda is on the mainstream media. There is no passion to help clients and act like a representative for Public Safety. All of the directors and execs have no technical background, the director of technical actually has a teachers diploma if that tells you anything. The rest are lawyers and art's majors. The moment you challenge them, the severance payouts begin. I was the 3 Technical leader hired and fired in 2 years. Same exec, same director. It's a shame as there is lots of great opportunity to improve but not with a top heavy management that actually has no technical knowledge nor leadership skills to empower the Operation minions that do. Decent pay, good work life balance, , confusing priorities, toxic work culture
The work life balance and pay is reasonable at this company, so if that is your employment priority they are a good choice. However, the leadership does not have a clear plan on organizational priorities, so trying to understand the practical relevance of what you do will be confusing. This contributes to a general frustration among the employees, which has established a very inwardly focused toxic environment. Sadly, there are many great people but poor leadership. What would you say about your employer?
