Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) – Riverview, NB – 1 October 2018
There were some minor glitches in the beginning, but that is to be expected when an international company is freshly setting up in a new region for the first time. The company made every effort to get things running as smoothly as possible as quickly as possible.
The staff is supportive and the work environment is positive and enjoyable. Although it is predominantly a contact centre, there are opportunities to specialize in different departments, and some departments don't require answering calls much at all.
The pay periods are semi-monthly as opposed to biweekly....so 24 slightly higher paycheques rather than 26 slightly lower ones. It all works out the same at the end of the year, but it does take a bit of adjustment if you're accustomed to biweekly. Always paid correctly and on-time and benefits are included.
Employee input is sought out and valued. Leads and managers are not just fair and respectful, but friendly and encouraging, too.
Dress code is fairly relaxed and comfortable. It's cool to be part of something that's growing, to be part of the process, to have chances for advancement, and to help build up a new company!
