Productive environment overall - horrible management

working in the environment and role that I worked in - I could have been paid more for the risks involved in the position. There were unrealistic goals set. Management at the time I worked, was horrible, un-communicative and disrespectful. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Not a very positive atmosphere. Management could care less about the security of the store. No help from management but yet observed to see if we are doing a good enough job. Would never work for this company again.

A typical day at TJX would be me getting signed in by the manager. then i would start reviewing footage of previous fraudulent returns or any theft activities from our external incident reports.i then would do a huddle with all associates and start using the cameras to search for any unprohibited activities. i would make lawful arrests with the 5 elements for either fraud or theft. i would report to police in any region that i am working. Management taught me many other tricks to the trade in order to move up. Everyone i worked with had a positive attitude and had a ver good knowledge of all policies and laws the most enjoyable part of the job is that you feel like a part of a family where everyone looks out for you

Conflict with a coworker-I would deal with conflict with my coworker in a professioneer manner without involving my supervisors.I would assess my own words and actions just to make sure I wasn’t contributing negatively to the situation. I would sit with my coworker in private and ask them how they felt about the conflict and try find a way that both of us are comfortable with and for the good interest of our team.
