Good place to work, decent salary, optional over time, paid lunch, management is pretty understandable and chill. Job is pretty hectic, had to hit a “percentage” per day and pick up to 1500 cases per day. Isle were pretty busy after 4pm so lots of waiting to get orders done and orders can be behind
Free lunch, night shift premium, paid lunch, good pay
Working in freezer, hard to hit daily percentage
It is a place where you have the opportunity as a driver to make a lot of money. You can be home with your family every night. But it is quite stressful and Sysco as a company doesnt care about you. The management does nothing to provide support. There is no driver appreciation.
Staff members were great and very positive about changes. Transportation and operation manager did not want fleet department to succeed. Used 3rd party vendor that their own people were not even qualified to work on equipment but if you say anything about that you get fired. Management needs to learn the process of running fleet not just customer service.

Doit être en mesure de gérer une grande pression et stress. Doit être en mesure de remplir plusieurs rapport demandés.
I worked at Sysco for over 5 years and it was noth good and bad. It is physical and high demand to meet the needs of the customers serviced. This caused the employees to be treated as secondary to the customers.
They call late the night before youre scheduled to work between 4-6am. Don't have any care for safety although they say they do. Not organized at all. They go through management like an alcohol goes through liquor. Every month the people you report to are no longer working there and the new employee has no idea about previous arrangements or how runs usually go. Dispatch is horrible as well. No cb's aloud in trucks or Bluetooths. No sleeper cabs for long distances. All in all a complete waste of time if you're looking for long term employment. You'll be lucky if they keep you for over two years. Don't trust a person at this company. Not even co-workers.
