Fun work place with a lot of benefits
QA Analyst (Current Employee) –  Montréal, QC26 February 2018
Every day is starting from scrum meeting where PM, QA and developers share information about the last workday and their plans for today's tasks. The combining of manual and automated testing let me learn new technologies and improves my development skills as well. Bi-weekly One-on-One with your manager is a perfect way to define your weaknesses and find a solution how to fix them, to share your opinion about some project, or ask advice about your self-improvement plans. The company takes care about your's workday, they provide free food, drinks and a lot of additional benefits. The hardest part is the company it is the growing, the management very often change the plans, so sometimes it is hard to follow and control your own goals. Any way I like a Beer-Friday every last week of a month.
Pros
Fresh fruits, coffee and snacks
Cons
Flexible hours

The company has no money for anything
Employee (Current Employee) –  Montreal, QC14 December 2014
The company will do anything to save a cent at the expense of employees: you have to beg to get a computer to do your work on (BYO from home without any extra compensation is the norm)

Management screws over "freelancers" they use full time by not making them regular employees thus denying them paid holidays or benefits while paying minimum wage

There is no clear direction where the company is going or what is happening, everything is just a giant mess you have to figure it out on your own, departments are siloed

Even basic items aren't stocked because management doesn't want to pay for them (paper towels, computer keyboards, monitors, computers, chairs...)

Very boring atmosphere for a company claiming a "vibrant culture"Short staffed so everyone has more work than they can handle
Pros
Very central location
Cons
Management cheaping out on everything and everyone
