I learned that you must be able to work unsupervised and under noisy and at times polluted environments working with dangerous chemicals. The management is not welcome to personal feedback and working conditions or personal safety. The workers do not follow company protocol in the Detail department. The place has very friendly and great people who love to help out when they have free time and are not too busy.
I applied as an apprentice and they told me they’d record my hours quarterly. I was lucky I had enough hours for my second year of school. But it was coming close of me supposed to be going to level 3, and they refuse to record the hours I need to be able to write the 3rd level exam. They wasted a whole year of my life. The current apprentice here gets special treatment and is constantly working with the foreman. Don’t expect to be able to learn anything new with the foreman unless the other apprentice is off shift.
No Advancement/favouritism towards certain long term employees
Worst general manager(nasir)to work for. Only concerned about quantity and not quality of work. He was only concerned about his own pocket and not the well being of employees. Very stressful and unhealthy work environment. Save yourself time and grief and stay away from this company
Work was extremely busy...I guess that's why they pay a little more than average. Scheduling is always messed up, as off days are split up....which really sucks... workers there are seniority based, they think they are untouchable after they work there long
slightly above average pay
Messed up schedule
