great place to work, good wages great management

great place to work, decent wages great benefitsmanagement is great to work with and very easy to talk to. Winter is a little tough due to weather but you have lots of support.


working by yourself at your own pace, free coffee, somewhat flexible start times and great benefits


not really any cons but you must realize winter hours are long But summer hours are short

Great stop and go place

No long term you won’t stay they don’t care at all about customers period dispatch is so disconnected you run around with your head cut off very poor management best job ever for 4 years now run as fast as you can away

This place is fun and challenging at the same time but worth it in the end

Awesome work environment. Management is top notch. I feel respected at this company. Very diverse work environment with amazing benefits. Fair wages and lots of perks. Highly recommend this company if interested in full time guaranteed work and willing to work for it. 5 stars

I am a new employee

Been working for them for 3 weeks or so really like all the saff and employees long hrs for training summer hrs will be relaxed I was told and winter time You work 50+hrs a week you do get overtime with it You need to have a bit of computer/technology knowledge as you work with iPhone and on board computer in truck its pretty easy for me they do say they will train you to get your gas fitter license as long as that is true that shows they want to put money into your Success and a big thing there is so many Well experienced employees there and so far they're all great all help you out and good mood all the time pretty much I will update when I am here longer

Good place to work

Management is great in Belleville/Whitby markets. Fall and Winter months get a little crazy but the summers are more relaxed so good if you have kids

Amazing onboarding process!

Onboarding was very deliberate and scheduled. During the process, I felt very welcomed by everyone, not just my team members. The work environment is exceptionally supportive. Proud to be part of the team!

Very busy call center

Great training but the job itself is constant calls from angry customers. Management only cares about stats. People are fantastic. Really high turnover.

Great People & Excellent Support

Superior Propane has provided a safe and healthy place to work in. Safety is #1, and it really shows on a day to day basis. The people in our market work very well together and really do a good job taking care of their customers.They have offered exceptional support during the pandemic, and really care about the individuals well being. Great pay, benefits and job security. Overall, Superior has been a great place to work. i look forward to many more years with this company.

Safety orientated place to work

Friendly management, and co-workers. Safe environment. Anything you need, just ask. Coffee machine!! Some trucks are in better shape than others but it seems they are working on it.

Progressive and supportive

Large company but feels like a small family. Tons of long tenured employees and that speaks volumes. There is lots of change but it's a really supportive company with great leadership. Opportunities for growth really depend on what you want to do and having open conversations with your manager.

Inclusive workplace culture and a friendly environment is what you're going to find at Superior. Cooperation is a must, hard work is required but you will be rewarded with a great team spirit and HR people who are always ready to help and improve employees' wellness.

Good place to work if you are looking for a good work-life balance

Overall good place to work. Winters are long and alot of space for overtime. Summers are short and you do your 8 hours and go home. Would reccomend everyone to give it a shot.

Depending on your Role, Superior is good or bad

Depending on your position this place can be OK or a disaster. In the Customer Service center it is very stressful and high pressure. Pay isn’t enough for the stress. I would never accept one of these positions. Very High turnover rates in Customer Service. CSC Managers in Calgary have been there too long to be fired so they just push the blame to others. No accountability, Just working to get by. Some of the Managers in other areas are very experienced and know what they are doing. I worked with many Great Managers in Alberta and Northern BC. GM of Sales has no real Industry experience and shouldn’t be making decisions that affect Alberta from the center of the Universe in Ontario. Superior is basically a monopoly so it’s very hard for customers to go elsewhere and Superior knows this so they keep prices very high. 14 day lags prevent prices from dropping too fast but they go up daily. Sensor Technology is the best in the Industry.


Big National company, always growing. Technology is best in Industry.


High stress, High Turnover, compensation is low.

This is a good job for the right individual.

Have been with this company for a year. Like anything there are good days and bad days. The upper management seems to be ok but they need to deal with cancers and the base level of certain branches of they want to keep employees. They want to have the right positive employees but the workload during the winter months is almost too much and burns you out


Long hours. Expect 50- 60 hours per week during the winter Good wage


A certain coworker that I get anxious around, A lot of stop and get out in the city settings, Long hours of you aren’t used to it.

Work, work, and work. No chance for advancement. Great pay. 8 hr shifts are non existent.

I love working for superior Propane.There is zero room for advancement as they can’t afford to move you out of the position you are already in. Long shifts, great money. No care for you as a person, they don’t care about family life, small lockers, no lunch room. Just work work work. Terrible working conditions, in the freezing cold and the sweltering heat.

Competitive senior leadership leads to dysfunctional behavouir and lack of commitment to long term strategies.

In general, the working level are great, caring people focused on working for the customers they serve. Senior management culture, lack of inclusion, limited long term strategy thinking kills any career aspirations and forward thinking ideas.

A great place to work. Team members are supportive, understanding, engaged and always willing to help out. Company has flexibility and encourages a strong work life balance. Safety is always a priority. Input is always welcome, encouraged and used to better the work environement for all.
