Sunrise Kitchens LTD. started as a garage operation established in 1983 by our late Founder Sohan Singh Bhogal. Our journey consisted of 6 major growths and today we are proud to have our 90,000 sq foot facility located in beautiful Surrey, British Columbia. We are a family operated business with a team of 100 plus team members working together to deliver –

Journey to World Class

Our company is moving towards Industry 4.0 which allows us to focus on updating our processes, systems, and machinery. To accommodate this shift, we have expanded our operations by adding an additional building beside our current production, which is a 35,000 sq feet facility with $12 million expansion including a significant investment in automated equipment.


The new facility has not just increased production but has also contributed towards the growth of each department and has opened a variety of career opportunities for potential candidates. As our people are our greatest assets, the expansion has added new inhouse facilities for employees, such as an additional lunchroom, the privilege of employee lockers as well as a training center is available to support and foster continuous learning and growth of our employees. Moreover, Sunrise has a brand new, updated fleet, including 30 vehicles.


We are a Kaizen workforce. The goal of Kaizen is to work on self-improvement and mindfulness for each member of our team here at Sunrise Kitchens that will improve our: 1) Self-management skills 2) Social – emotional awareness 3) Interpersonal skills 4) Attention and concentration 5) Relaxation and mind-body awareness

Bringing You Onboard: Our Recruitment and Selection Process

1) Pre-Screening The first step in our recruitment process begins with the review of candidate's employment application and resume, followed by a phone interview. The purpose of the phone interview is to verify the candidate’s education, experience, skills, and knowledge required to perform the job responsibilities. 2) One-on-One Interviews The successful candidates from pre-screening are then scheduled an in-person interview with the Human Resources Manager and the Department Manager. The purpose of this step is to find out what the candidates know, to learn how they have applied and tested work skills, and to determine where their aptitudes lie, thereby defining the path of future growth and development. The candidates are often asked behavioral questions to identify how well their past work experiences relate to the job opportunity. 3) Selection The successful candidates from the in-person interviews are offered employment.
