Cashier in Burnaby, BC
on 10 January 2022
Management not very good; hostile senior cashier
New store manager leaves little time in the morning for cashing in till. Management are very demanding even though they don't fully train their employees. As a cashier, there's a lot of protocols you need to learn like returns, accounts, PST exempt, etc. There's one senior cashier that has an attitude, not very helpful to new cashiers and sometimes is even the reason new cashiers resign. The rest of the employees are nice and easy to get along with.
Manager in Burnaby, BC

Easy job , good pay , friendly environment
Great environment to work at. Colleagues are lovely and supportive. But you should expect to work around the clock. Very fast paced environment. You’d love it if you like challenges. :)
Wearhouse worker in Burnaby, BC
on 23 April 2022
The management is least helpful, they behave strange , and are not at all helpful.
Strange ,you give years in the company, and management is not at all helpful, they are only concerned about the high rank employees.. !! they believe Laboure or low rank employees can be arranged in a minute, that’s what exactly the summit tools (Burnaby)..wear house thinks.

This place sux
Very stressful management on top of you all the time, no culture & relation between employees because of Hostile management. Won’t ever refer any one to work here.

Absolute joke.
Upper Managent needs to learn how to run a business properly. What a joke. This company says they just want their employees to be happy but they treat them like garbage. The preach employee retention but do nothing about it, hence why their turnover rate is through the roof. The owner of the company doesn't know how to run the business, at all. They preach "teamwork" but enforce segregation. There is a very unrealistic work load and no work culture. Management will get mad, yell, scold or lecture for the stupidest things and/or smallest of mistakes. They fail to realize that there are holes in the training that they, themselves provide. The training is so minimal and is embarrassing to say the least. Your thrown to the wolves on your first day. If you try to help someone you're told to "stay in your lane".
