Fun to work with people who are hardworking.
Food Counter Attendant (Current Employee) - Regina, SK - 8 May 2019
You have to deal with difficult customers.
Deal with the management's likes and dislikes no matter what. Sometimes working long hours and even exceeding the max allowed hours for the day and still will not be paid with overtime pay.
Pros
Free lunch and discounted purchases.
Cons
No increase in rate despite of long years working there, No benefits, Not secured with your job despite of loyalty, No overtime pay.

Fun work place
Cook/Server/Cashier and Food Counter attendant (Current Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 6 September 2018
The owner, the manager, supervisor and co workers are all good. I had fun and I enjoy when I work in subway and mai restaurant. But I'm more happier where I am working right now. They are all nice and fun to work with. We help each other in doing our task. There is teamwork everyday. The owner, my supervisor and all my co worker are good and teach me how to love and enjoy my job.
Pros
50 percent for our lunch
Cons
Sometimes long hours

Productive and fun workplace with nice co-workers and employer.
Food Counter Attendant / Supervisor (Former Employee) - Richmond Hill, ON - 2 September 2018
I would say everyday at work was hard work at the same time its fun because you have a chance to learn, improve your self and a chance to enter act with other people. Everyone are busy doing different task and helping each other and everyone are focus on giving the costumer what they've wanted and best experience possible. I learned how to do all the task that they ask me to do from the very basic task in the restaurant like maintaining the cleanliness following the restaurant standard, preparing all the product so that it will be ready for serving, doing the cashier, inventory, handling delivery, managing big orders, and handling decision making if needed. and other task required in a restaurant function. About the management I can say that I wish there is additional benefits for a worker with position that does more job than the other part time only or don't have much responsibility on the restaurant function except of free food and break time payed. Workplace culture i wish there is recognition board for the hard workers and not just for the mistakes that needs an improvement so that the good workers will work harder even more cause they know they are being recognized. The positive side of the company's culture that I like the most is the team work that made the difference. The hardest Job for me was my first time doing the inventory alone its so much complicated because of lack of information on my training. The last but not the least my enjoyable experience on my job was when the costumers, co-workers and even the employer recognized your hard work. That is a wonderful -
Pros
Free food and break time payed
Cons
Not enough benefits for full time worker with position
