Hard work with flexible hours
A typical day would consist of 12 hours of labour (my personal choice), which taught me discipline and punctuality. Management was decent, although sometimes I would receive my cheque late. I got along well with my co-workers and we all worked hard to fulfill our duties for the day. The hardest part of the job was having to clean tennis courts that had not been used in decades. Getting all the dirt and debris off the courts was a challenge, to say the least. The most enjoyable part of the job was chatting to my co-workers when we had the chance or when we were on break.
free dinners, flexible hours, being outside in nice weather
not always getting paid on time
