Flexible, good paying summer job
Painter, Crew Chief, Production Manager (Current Employee) –  Georgetown, ON30 January 2019
Working out doors, doing physical labour, working with similar aged/minded peers, since it's piece work you can make as much as your willing to work. Plenty of opportunity
Pros
Piece work

Disorganized
Crew Chief (Former Employee) –  Edmonton, AB18 June 2017
Managers are very positive and supportive students but inexperienced. Results in a chaotic and disorganized work environment . The wage is definitely not worth it.

Fun job with great people. Lacks managment.
Crew Chief (Former Employee) –  Victoria, BC12 May 2017
The work was great and the people who i worked with were amazing. I loved the work and the clients. Was not given what i was promised. Poor management. Management cared more about the money than the quality.
Pros
Great people. Great work.
Cons
Managment did not care about product only the money.

Reliable work and good pay
Crew Chief / Exterior Painter (Former Employee) –  Winnipeg, MB16 April 2015
Each day consists of arriving at the job site, discussing work strategy, and then painting all day. Door to door marketing is a minimal component of the job. The job can be monotonous at times, but overall is rewarding. No experience is required, managers will train you on the job and therefore this company is a great way for students not trained formally in a trade to find reliable summer work. Must be willing to work long hours and at heights.
Pros
Constant work at decent pay
Cons
Employees must work at heights on ladders, Job has potential for injury even though saftey training is provided

If you enjoy painting this is the job for you
Student Works Painting ( Crew Chief) (Former Employee) –  Chatham-Kent, ON27 January 2013
Working for student works, you were trained in many painting situations (indoor, outdoor, ladder training, etc. ) hardest part of the job was getting over your fear of ladders if you had them. Most enjoyable was pay day.
Pros
outdoor work.
Cons
long days, hot days, weather pending job
