Reviews about Pay & benefits for Truck Driver at Stryder
Solid Company w. Respectful Dispatch Team
Company Driver (Current Employee) - Richmond, BC - 1 March 2022
Stryder's been a great company to drive for since I joined nearly a year ago. They maintain a solid relationship between dispatch and drivers, and information is clearly communicated. I was set up with a reliable truck when I started, plus the few times I ran into issues with my equipment they repaired or replaced my equipment quickly and without complaint. I've worked for companies before that pressure you to "manage your books", have a toxic environment, and point fingers when equipment issues arise - I've experienced none of this at Stryder and am really grateful that I feel respected in my role. To anyone looking for a driving job that offers consistent employment with solid benefits and pay, I recommend checking out Stryder.

Great experience during my time here...
Truck Driver/Equipment Operator (Former Employee) - Richmond, BC - 9 May 2018
This is a fantastic place to gain experience in the industry. Paid well, friendly dispatchers and drivers, cool office, etc. Good benefits for the most part, and you can tell that they care about their employees and want to help them do their best no matter what even on a hard day. The overall company culture is very team-oriented which I also liked, they do have a unique sense of image. Constant work was a plus. I found the office staff are friendly and helpful.
However, I will say that it is a high-intensity company to work for and that certainly has weeded out many people over the years - by no means is it a walk in the park, the gears turn quickly but it is worth it for the great experience opportunities in my opinion.
Pros
Nice employees and head offices, new equipment, good experiences, pay
Cons
Challenging environment

Ok for a local job
TRUCK DRIVER (Current Employee) - Kent, WA - 20 May 2019
Ok job, dispatch is in Canada so that creates a problem. No communication between dispatchers either. Other than that it is a...well, a job. No set schedules. Pay is decent, trucks are good, trailers are a bit rough.
