We are told by management that they want to be #1 in growth, sales, quality and customer service. Putting in an "average effort" is frowned upon. Yet, when it comes to employee pay, management uses "average" as a selling point. As in "Your pay is average for similar London businesses."
In fact, management paid a company to survey the business community in London to make sure they weren't paying too much, and then bragged to the employees about this endeavor. What I get from "We checked to make sure you're paid average" is they checked to make sure they could pay the employees as little as possible while only creating a minimal/acceptable incentive for employees to go elsewhere.
Here, management wants to be first in sales! First in service! First in growth! But pay? Meh. Middle of the pack is good enough.
If you're the kind of person that likes to put in way more effort than you will be fairly compensated for, this is the place for you.

This is great company but not perfect. Picture a driver changing lanes incessantly - this is them - but they succeed. Nobody there would likely argue with this assessment. You can do a lot worse than working here - you will learn a lot.

Amazing company! Around 20% growth every year, continues to expand globally every year and should move from $287 million last year to $500 million by 2021.
