Best Summer Job
General Labourer (Former Employee) –  Kingston, ON31 October 2018
Company is headed in a better direction with quality people leading the charge, but still much room for improvement regarding the culture of the organization. Greater leadership and communication required moving forward. Working as a Student there was terrific, working with great people, but events can be a gong show.

Park Worker (Former Employee) –  Morrisburg, ON18 February 2018
Working for the St. Lawrence Park's Commission was an enjoyable job that came with countless benefits. Management taught you how to deal with situations and customers on your own and how to run the registration booth with no problems. The workplace culture was very easy going but filled with hard work.

MILITARY INTERPRETER (Current Employee) –  Kingston, ON31 January 2018
Fort Henry is an absolutely wonderful place of employment that constantly offers a welcoming work environment and always positively pushes its employees to improve themselves. The only noticeable hurdle in my experience is building physical condition to accommodate the job. However, that obstacle is jumped as time goes on for the staff helps consolidate any weak points you may have.

General Labourer (Former Employee) –  Cornwall, ON2 October 2016
I worked at Riverside Cedar Campground for four summers, and looking back on it now it was the easiest job i ever had. The staff were funny and friendly people, and most of the time the job was very relaxed. The work consisted of basic campground maintenance, and was not at all stressful provided the work was done (which it always was).
Tasks: Whiper-snipping, cleaning washrooms, picking up garbage and permits, delivering wood and canoes to campsites, and registering campers.

Historical Interpreter (Former Employee) –  Morrisburg, ON18 May 2015
Every day was different; you get to change up your work location, work with all of the staff, and interact with new visitors all of the time! You also learn a ton of local historical material in order to share with visitors coming from all around the world. I also improved my customer service and interpersonal skills immensely by working here. Breaks and lunches were a nice social break from the summer heat, and coworkers were always a great support system when there were rough days with customers.
