ST. LAWRENCE COLLEGE
ST. LAWRENCE COLLEGE Employee Review
Was a good job right up until the contract ended. No communication from management at IT desk.
IT Service Desk Analyst (Former Employee) - Kingston Campus - 13 September 2022
The IT desk was pretty relaxed. The students and faculty who come in are all very nice. Was a great job to balance between work and school because they only give you 12 hours per week, and according to the union contract they have to work around your schedule. However, no one bothered to let me know that my contract had ended, so I was left hanging for about a week in limbo. The job was great -- management, not so much.

Great place for a student to work.
IT Service Desk Analyst (Current Employee) - Kingston - 23 March 2022
The school is required to work around your schedule if you are a student so it takes a lot of stress off during the semester. They can only give you about twelve hours per week due to their collective agreement, but it works out depending on how intensive your program is. Overall, great place to work if you are a student.

Really Lovely Place!
Human Resources Assistant (Former Employee) - Kingston, ON - 11 July 2022
The work, I found, was good and challenging. Plenty of support, so you never felt overwhelmed or underappreciated. And their focus on work-life balance was strong, always wanting to make sure you and your mental health were the top priority.
Pros
Remote work, lots of workshops, and good benefits
Cons
None
