Environmental Service Worker (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 4 April 2023
As a worker you are unfairly treated. As a patient certain doctors are Respectful. Needs revamping. From Managers to Staff Hire the correct people and train them properly. Patient rooms aren’t cleaned properly and with Covid they need to protect the patients. That is a question mark???
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Very dirty hospital.

Toxic management with poor work culture and policies
Dietary Aide (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 27 July 2023
In short, no appreciation for your contribution with overworking. Punished for making mistakes instead of allowing one to learn from it while no accountability for management’s mistakes. Work culture and policies promote laziness, shortcuts, and disharmony among employees. Lots of violations from management but no accountability due to fear of retribution from employees. Stressful work environment due to gosipping and targeting for being different. No support from Union or HR when management is in violation of employee rights. Inadequate time or ineffective equipment to get your job done yet you’re expected to finish the job on time.
Pros
Meeting new faces
Cons
Unstable hours, overworking, targeting, harassment
