SSENSE has a great work ethic and amazing head office. Vibes and people are cool and i would definitely work here again! Great kitchen area with tons of snacks for the whole office.
Shipper (Former Employee) – Montréal, QC – 22 March 2018
Employees make the work environment somewhat enjoy ,the schedule could be better , especially when they choose to force overtime on people unexpectedly. Management is absolutely terrible , disrepectful and only care about themselves even if it requires them to curse/shout and degrade their own employees. They tell you that you will have an employee discount after your hired but really you only get the employee discount if they keep you for 3 months after your initial contract which is rare , because they lay off a lot of people before the 3 month probation
Pros
employee discount (only if they keep you for 3months after your initial contract), the employees
Customer Service Agent (Former Employee) – Chabanel, QC – 4 February 2018
As a customer service agent you have a lot of e-mails and calls to answer but the managers are there to help you with your questions. Great opportunity to work in a fashion company. However it is difficult to advance within the company.

Great place to work. Learned a lot about the work that goes on behind the scenes. Always something new going everyday and the workplace dynamic is amazing!
Great company! Awesome work environment and ability to grow. Super artsy and cultured. Open work environment which is great. Apply today guys! You won't regret it. No they did not pay me to write this.
because of mangers i left my job apart from that everything is fine. HR is verygood with employees and work place is very good, team members are very helpfoll to eachother.
Very poor managed company. Managers are mad, arrogant and even they are not eligible as a managers. have no idea what to do or who to assign. Pay is very low and they make you work overtime..the day u recruit they wont tell u about overtime but after u recruit they force u todo overtime they never look at ur concern, u have to listen what tthey tell u, the managers are rude and how they become managers i dont know, Managers talk bad about their employees and are not there to be your friend but to tell you what to do.

Wouldn't recommend, abusive supervisor and co-ordinator. Decent and well designed work place.Overall, it would be a good summer job. Working in winter would become difficult due to distance.
SSENSE is a great company. offices are open-space. people are very nice. family owned. management is super nice. lots of benefits. a great place to work.
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) – Montréal, QC – 8 September 2017
Worst job experience ive ever had. Managers are discriminatory and racist. Avoid this company at all costs. Ive never seen a more immature management team in my life and I work for a bank now. They need to fire the managers for being inadequate for the job and treating their employees like pure garbage. Never felt so disrespected at a job then at SSENSE. Better off somewhere else.
Pros
free coffee
Cons
The management, The Pay, The discrimination, The Racism
The company, at first, seems legitimate. They also offer benefits and seem like a good place to work.
That said, the management is terrible, and workers are not acknowledged for their work or respected. Inter- and intra-department politics prevents any upward mobility, and management is known for its lack of transparency and unfairness, as well as arbitrary firing practices based on preference or discriminatory policies. They also prefer hiring pretty women and I can only imagine what these pathetic "managers" are thinking about.
While some of the coworkers are great - as is the case in any job - many are opposed to change, new ideas, and are resistant to those who excel at their work. Most calls are about lost packages and SSENSE isnt responsible so you will be handling yelling customers and youll have management behind you laughing.
If you desire to build a career, or work in a respectful and honest environment, do not work at SSENSE.
Avoid at all costs lousy pay.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Poor Management team, Uneducated management and DISCRIMINATORY
Very poor managed company. Managers have no idea what to do or who to assign. Pay is very low and they make you work overtime.. Managers talk bad about their employees and are not there to be your friend but to tell you what to do. Very fake company and a lot of customers complaints. The company always loses packages and you gotta deal with angry customers and managers who barely care about service. Very discriminatory company and they prefer hiring hot"females" because thats how bad the managers are thirsty.
Pros
free coffee
Cons
low pay, no benefits, no futur, discriminatory managers

Ssense was a very good place to grow as a professional. I learned a lot of attributes that made me a better employee. Everyone was very friendly, and helpful.
Customer Service (Former Employee) – Montréal, QC – 27 January 2017
SSENSE was a great place to work at, with good people and very flexible with work schedule. This was a contract position.
The teams I worked on worked well together, even though we had varying schedules. There was support and respect for what each person contributed to the team.
