Fine if you’re desperate
Commercial Customer Care Agent (Former Employee) - St. John's, NL - 15 May 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedVery poor workplace culture. Constant management infighting with no direction. HR is hard to speak too. Will try to cast blame elsewhere. Interviewer made lots of promises they couldn’t keep

TELESALES SPECIALIST - SHAW RENEWAL TEAM (Current Employee) - Remote - 4 July 2023
I worked for s & p data over a period of 6 months. I have worked on their Shaw renewal project where role requires to dial out 30-40 calls in 8 hrs shift. During that time I experienced toxic culture & managers support was null when it comes to growth.
Pros
Work from Home
Cons
Toxic culture

Very fun and productive.
Customer Service Agent (Former Employee) - Trenton, ON - 11 February 2023
They had competitions where you could win things. It was like a family there. We all supported one another. There was lots of overtime available, chances to make good money. They had different contracts. The training was excellent. The management was extremely caring and approachable. They also did outside bbq's which was great. Co-workers really lift each other up and support each others success. I would work there again in a heartbeat.
Pros
Free lunches sometimes, contests.
Cons
Nothing that I can think of for cons.

Was a good place
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Canada - 10 February 2023
The team leader was quite supportive. Though it was a remote position, the team made it fun for everyone. I had a nice experience. Only issue was that the pay is just the minimum wage.

Poor company to work for
Retention Agent (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 31 December 2022
Once you are through training there is next to no support. You are required to deal with the customers and if you get to a point that you need to escalate the call the supervisors are never there for you and just tell you to deal with it. Very demanding and a lot of pressure right away to make sales and goals.

Supportive Management
Costumer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 16 December 2022
I worked here in it's heyday. I miss the environment, helpful coworkers. Many projects we're placed on, you learn about some of industry. Cons...being confined to restricted assistance for customers

Jobs at SP Data Digital
Fun and Casual
Customer Advocate Representative (Former Employee) - Work from Home - 19 April 2022
A fun and exciting place to work, they do have a lot of work from home positions available. Always had managers and supervisors who were attentive and supportive when dealing with agents working from home.

Competitive/Stressful Environment but Good Pay for Entry Level
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Hamilton, ON - 29 March 2022
Call centre job. It is what it is. Paid training is nice, but once that's done, they will 100% expect newbs to take calls from a variety of departments. I was outbound for 2.5 monthes, trained for 4 days on inbound and thrown to the wolves. All within my probationary period. Had a mental breakdown and walked away from the job immediately. But, if you like to talk, and wanna make good money (and you don't know what anxiety is) this is great entry level "career starter" for those with HS diplomas (or without, just charm them in the interview). Also FYI my experience is purely in a WFH context. Maybe it's easier in person? Probably not.
Pros
Bonuses for the Competitive Sales Person(tm)
Cons
No support and inadequate training. Company culture is toxic.

The most disorganized workplace I've ever experienced
Account Retention Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 29 March 2022
If it was possible to give 0 scores, I would have. S&P was the most disorganized place I have ever worked (e.g. they'll hire support staff then demote them because they've hired too many). Management does not support its agents on any level. They don't even know what to do when a fire alarm goes off in the middle of a shift. It's common for the higher ups to use intimidation tactics to force staff to agree to things that contradict Ontario employment law. Love yourself and simply click past any S&P Data postings. Save yourself any frustration, anxiety or stress.
Pros
Amazing coworkers (agents) who are supportive
Cons
Disorganized management culture; favouritism

Okay
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - 10 March 2022
Set hours, couldn’t choose. Chill people but a lot of tasks to complete and they liked to make it competitive. They were lenient, minimum wage could have paid a dollar or two higher.

Great place to work!
Talent Acquisition Specialist (Current Employee) - Work from Home - 2 March 2022
S&P Data feels like home. Leadership and Management are great, and they work with you to advance if that's that you want to do. The culture is great and they do what they can to make it a fun place to work, but at the end of the day, your success lies in your hands.
