This place has been closed for a while.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Saint John, NB - 12 April 2020
I have no idea what happened, but they were shut down a while ago, probably close to a year or two after they were set up there. Maybe that'll give you some idea of what kind of company they were. They were nice, and the training was very good, but somebody was pulling the wrong strings in the back.

Work place and management
Skilled Labourer/Light Operator (Former Employee) - Saint John, NB - 5 February 2020
Good job, decent company, no job security as they closed without notice. The pay was average, not a great pay for price of living in the area. Over all I'd recommend the job if it had more stability.

Productive work environment with a gaming lounge
Customer service Representative (Former Employee) - Saint John, NB - 26 January 2020
I respond to customer request on telecommunication services in respect to their billing inquires , account and troubleshooting. Learning is a key improvement at s&p data majorly focusing on overcoming challenges and improving confidence listening skills , verbal communication skills and work ethics.
The most hardest part of the job is dealing with frustrated consumer of s&p product services having to not be upset and keeping a good composure and a friendly tone .
I like the gaming lounge , the work environment and the day time shifts.

I really enjoyed working at S&P data. Great work and great customer s. I like the schedules and the bonuses we would get for attendance and for work done there.

Great work and hours
Cons
Pay was not up to par.

This place is awful.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Saint John, NB - 1 March 2019
Fires you without warning and without reason. Has failed to pay people on several occasions. Several team leaders and higher ups don’t know what they’re doing and are unprofessional. Not enough floor support.
Overall, this place is a horrible place to work.
Another failed call centre.
Pros
Paid breaks, that’s about it.
Cons
Everything.

Maybe find another employer
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Saint John, NB - 18 February 2019
If you don't mind being completely and utterly taking advantage of as an employee while being treated like a second class person, you might want to work here.

Not a promising future
Mentor (Current Employee) - Saint John, NB - 13 January 2019
When they first opened back in February 2018 it was exciting and fun to go to work everyday. Now everyone is gloomy as no one knows whats going on they keep demoting and letting people go for no said reason except it was a business decision. The future doesn't look promising.Management does not communicate with the employees,
Typical day would be on phones for 8 hrs. Hardest part is the sales, and when we first started sales were not important. 'The best part of the job are your co-workers.
Pros
Convenient
Cons
Daily Changes

An honest thought
Loyalty Care Representative (Former Employee) - Saint John, NB - 23 November 2018
$13 an hour for billing department, with light up-selling but typically you handle billing issues and technical issues with the chance of simply selling phones. This is what they tell you when you start the interview process.
Only to find out that its a sales driven billing department with no focus on billing or tech issues, and only focused on sales - kind of like the CBC article posted back in october.
And unless you enjoy upselling people who can't really afford things (like most of us) you're likely to fall victim of the 6 month fire without warning policy.
Some of the people there make the place tolerable, but for $13 an hour, 0 job security, and hardly any actual support in production (during training they make support feel like its 24/7) not for a lack of knowledge - for a lack of management.
I wish there was something positive about the company I could say however they don't provide chances to improve before they abuse that 6 month policy, even 2 months in. Just proceed with caution.
Cheers,
Pros
paid breaks
Cons
everything else

Big work location
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Saint John, NB - 4 September 2018
S&P Data is very good at first but after you are a part of the "Team" you realize that it's not all it's cracked up to be. Your pay is based on every little thing you do, don't get me wrong the pay is very nice but they have problems with giving you the wrong pay every pay week you have to go and talk with people to figure it out to make sure you will get the money that you worked hard for and you always have to stay on top of them. As for the environment i have never seen so much dust and dirt in one place in all my life i have not been sick so many times from one workplace. They will promote it as a friendly and family environment but its more like drama central and dating site in the company. They do not tell you that you will be working 9 hour shifts also that you have to switch shifts every two months and you only get the shift you want IF you meet ALL requirements for the quotas. It doesn't matter if you have children they don't care you get what you get it doesnt work find work elsewhere.
Last but not least the Management/floor support, Half of them do not know what they are doing and often give you answers of I don't know or just do whatever I don't care; And i'm sorry but I do not agree with any of this in a workplace but don't just take my word for it, Give it a try and lets see your reviews.
Pros
Meet new people
Cons
Misleading information, Pays incorrectly, stressful.

Excellent staff let down by poor systems and management
Customer Service Agent (Current Employee) - Saint John, NB - 12 August 2018
Whilst the people working there are honest and friendly, daily system issues and general mismanagement of information makes it only a good option for temporary work as the both the pay and the potential bonuses and commission are high enough to tide one over as the seek a more permanent job.
Pros
Excellent opportunities for bonuses and higher pay beyond the base salary
Cons
System issues and general management of information regarding both policy and day-to-day actions

Worst place to work at

Beware
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Saint John, NB - 27 July 2018
Don't work here if you want to advance they have the people they set out to get ahead and there's alot of conflicts of interest. Managers being too close to staff and having personal relationships and advancing people who are honestly should not be in a management position. The managers there don't do there job and there's rarely ever postive feedback. The quality is pass/fail which when you neglect to do one thing and your told that you "failed" is very discouraging. Theyre not listening to feedback and doing what will get the most people on the phones and it's not going to work. It's honestly a mess there and on top of that you get people screaming at you about there bills. They demoted people when there was a high demand for support and honestly i wouldn't be surprised if some choices are made and management will start to be let go. Too many mistakes and poor decision making by senior management who pick favorites and give ONLY negative feedback. Bad place to work lol you don't get paid enough either... go to school and have a career.

CSR - Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Saint John, NB - 30 May 2018
Lot of Stress from billing calls.
Staff is nice.
Good training. for first few weeks.(over whelming amount
of information).
Put on the phones after that. Scary to know what to do without
much practise for common scenerios, like New phones, or
additional lines.
Pros
No uniforms or inventory to deal with
Cons
Hours mess up days and evenings
