There's no end in sight to the number of system issues the company has to deal with since switching over to SAP. But when all is said and done most of the colleagues and co-workers are great people to work with. Managers are very supportive and friendly making them easy to talk with.
My only concern with Southwire Canada is that with the exception of Sales roles, there's very little opportunity for growth within the company.
The hardest part of the job would be the sheer workload. Primarily due to the multiple systems being integrated into one is slow and causing many inefficiencies. Employees feel short staffed on good days, while taking vacation is a nightmare upon returning.
Yes it's hard work, but rest assured there is a lot to learn here and a lot of fun to be had. From cake days once a month to celebrate birthdays to daily fruit provisions, as well as a decent gym - we are well taken care of.
