While I can't compare this place to other factory settings, working here made it clear to me that I never want to work in such a setting again. I never had any issues with the staff and the management was very accommodating to my needs. Overall, if you are ok with factory work, this place might be for you. I cannot speak to how it has been run recently since I haven't worked here in a bit over a year as of writing this.
If you enjoy machine operating /assembly it's tolerable. But once you learn the machines you'll be gaslighted into being a team lead. Ever watched YouTube's fastest workers? Worst? Now imagine being stuck in between them with your team lead looking to you to learn the tl duties with no extra pay. You're the new assistant team lead, machine operator, and babysitter for the students who can't remember thier quality control duties. But hey if you're fast they might group you with some decent people, at the expense of your fingertips at the end of the day. They can build a new wing on the building and buy the building next door, but they can't repave the parking lot for a fiscal year. They run the machines until they break without any skilled maintenance, and then wonder why they have so much scrap, recalled orders and broken machines. There's a reason they have trouble hiring team leads and the hiring is a revolving door.
Have you ever woken up and thought "you know what? I want to feel like a worthless cog in the machine that can be replaced on a dime if I forget to punch in or show up a minute late, for mediocre pay, disconnected management, and a woefully unfulfilling dead end job"? Great! Because that's exactly what you'll get here. With an attendance policy that'll make you feel like you've just fallen through the earth and suddenly found yourself in communist China, to upper management who can't figure out why a square peg won't fit in a round hole, this place has everything you need to absolutely hate your job. Don't believe me? Find out for yourself, apply today!
Take care of yourself mentally, physically and emotionally before working here because this place will make you question your self-worth. Toxic management. Instead of blaming your employees for not working harder, maybe implement changes or solutions to help your employees strive to achieve work goals. Even with multiple HR employees, they will never be able to accommodate to any of the employees' needs. The factory side of the company where all the hard work is made will never compare to the luxuries of what the business side of the company gains. You get treated more like a robot than a human being here. Do not settle for less, there are better jobs out there that will treat you with respect.
Great people to work with on my line. Management was fine. Good team atmosphere but prepare to work very fast paced. You are standing your whole shift using your hands quickly and assembling various medical devices.
