Long days

The company was good to work for, but the job required you to be gone for approximately 6 to 13 hours a day. While only being paid for 8 hours, the city requires you take breaks that are up to 4 hours long. An example would be working 6 hours, then taking a 4 hour break, then working for another 1.5 hours. Which makes no sense whatso ever. So if you - more ... worked a 8 hour day, your shift would be 6 hrs plus 4 hour break, and then work for 2 hours. They require you to remain with the transit bus while you are on break, so you are not actually off for those 4 hours. By the time you get home, after putt ... - less
