Good place to work
Nurse (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 30 August 2023
I was able to gain lot of experience working there as you work in many different locations. That’s part of the con as well since you are asked to work in different locations, you don’t really get a proper orientation to learn the place or the residents.

. Don’t waste your time here cause they will waste yours.
Personal Support Worker (PSW) (Former Employee) - Ontario - 13 July 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? On your own schedule, casual hours What is the most stressful part about working at the company? No communication at all. Lack of professionalism. Don’t have much hours to give. Chooses favourites for scheduling and letting things slide. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? You get thrown into whatever facility they pair with. No orientation or anything.

I enjoyed working for Source Momentum
Registered Nurse, Staff Relief in Long Term Care (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 7 May 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The best parts of working for Source were that they supplied me with great assignments/experiences/opportunities in Long Term Care. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Distance of clients, gas costs but the positives outweigh this stress What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Supportive in finding hours/assignments What is a typical day like for you at the company? You’re always busy making sure that the client is happy

Worse work environment/experience
Coordinator (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 24 January 2023
Very unsanitary office with centipedes crawling around. There is no structure or training process. This job has no opportunity for growth. The management is not helpful at all. I do not recommend working here.

Overall
RPN (Current Employee) - London, ON - 30 October 2022
Overall the company is amazing to work for however the wage is slightly below the going RPN rate for agency work and there can be downtime and uptime so plan accordingly. Staff is fantastic and works with you, management is relaxed and doesn't micro-manage, they listen and offer guidance as well as take your input to heart. There can sometimes be pressure to accept shifts however you can find that with any agency. This is the best agency overall, just wish the pay was slightly better.

Don’t waste your time
Staff Nurse (Former Employee) - Ontario - 23 September 2022
I had high hopes working for this agency but it wasn’t working for me at all. The pay is lower than other agencies offer and quite disorganized in arranging shifts it really became a headache. I wouldn’t recommend starting the hiring process to anyone just click next.

Personal Support Worker (Current Employee) - Brantford, ON - 11 February 2022
I have been working there since March 2015 but have not received any calls for a long time. From what i understand I was told I was highest seniority in Sudbury area due to first hired but don't feel that i was treated fairly when it came to the available shifts due to not receiving any calls for a very long time
Pros
Very understanding
Cons
Pay could be better

Agency
Personal Support Worker (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 11 April 2021
This company is an agency. The facilities they send you to are all trash with terrible coworkers (very mean and unhelpful). Workload is insane but that’s expected as a PSW I guess. Pay was alright and it wasn’t the company’s fault the staff at the LTC facilities were bullies.
Pros
Decent pay
Cons
Only called for weekend (Sunday) shifts.

Central Ontario Low Agency Wage Comparison
RPN (Former Employee) - Central Ontario - 26 October 2020
I worked for this company a few years ago in Central Ontario. They suddenly up and left the area after issues with their contracts (not their fault) so I was left with no opportunity to work for them. At the time they paid well, were accessible and I could self schedule. I noticed that they are back in this area again now and posting positions close to my home. One of the good things about working for agencies is that you are guaranteed a higher wage than the permanent staff because you are usually "going in blind" to a job. These new postings seem a bit off. I know that if you do some research you can find the exact same job, as a permanent position with the contracted company, at the same/similar rate of pay but with the bonus of having health benefits, etc. I don't know why their wages are so low compared to other agencies right now..
Pros
Self Scheduling
Cons
Low wages compared to other agencies

Money drives this company.
Nurse (Former Employee) - Ontario - 15 June 2020
Manager pushed an impossible schedule on me and when i complained she ignored. She through my words back in my face and continued to expect me to work it no matter what I said. I felt so tired and sick after four 16hrs days in a row of working. She did not care. Nurses are Professionals and we are treated with disrespect and wrongfully prejudged opinions. Alot of agencies are this way.
Pros
Got paid
Cons
My health and safety was at risk. So I Quit

Not what it seems
Registered Practical Nurse (Former Employee) - Peterborough, ON - 18 October 2019
Very unorganized and very poor communication between their agency and the agencies they send you to. For home care in Peterborough there were days where I wouldn’t know my schedule till the morning of and days where I was told I was working and then woke up to no hours. I also had a couple of incidences where I was not paid due to the office not processing time sheets. If you are looking for a staffing agency to work for I would not recommend Source
Pros
Pay was reasonable
Cons
Poor communication
