In addition to its industry leading frac sand transload terminal network and in-basin frac sand storage capabilities, Source also provides storage and logistics services for other bulk oil and gas well completion materials that aren't produced by Source. Source has also developed Sahara, a proprietary wellsite mobile sand storage and handling system.
You will waste your potential working for this company.
Operator (Former Employee) – Red Deer - Fox Creek – 22 March 2019
Good starter job for someone coming out of school. Wage is mediocre but you don't need any skill to work there. Hard work and perseverance will not pay off. If you want to get ahead with this company be sure to bring your knee pads and a case of beer. They will promote probationary employees to supervisor roles before a 5 year employee. Don't waste your potential with this company for 5 years like I did.
Trying to succeed here is like running on a hamster wheel.
Accounts Receivable Administrator (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 21 July 2018
Enjoyed working there. before I left a lot of staff turnover. Too much office drama / favouritism like high school. "Team" may be a word that is used however is not something that is exercised. Management and upper staff could use to be more involved.
Operator (Former Employee) – Red Deer County, AB – 18 November 2017
I enjoyed the work. Too many cons for me to ever refer someone to work out of the Red Deer branch. The schedule is haywire, management gets you to do their work for them, and the pay is below average for the industry. Calgary head office doesn't have a clue the clown show going on in the field.
Operator (Former Employee) – Red Deer, AB – 23 January 2017
Okay place to work, Management could use some work. With the downturn in oil prices some sacrifices needed to be made, management could have dealt with the whole process a little better. There was some ionfighting amongst the field employees.
