Softchoice at the time was mainly focused on software and hardware selling and not SAAS. it has seen many changes since I was there. Sales roles are a perfect way to start career, and you learn many tools for future growth and dev. in career here.

The culture, your peers you will love. Management leaves too much to be desired. Fun but super long hours and you can be chewed up and spit out easily.

good place to go for an entry point into IT Sales.

Not so good if you are an experienced professional, expecting accountability from a novice sales force and management.

fun place to work, not so fun paycheques
Operations (Former Employee) –  Toronto20 October 2014
It is a fun place to work and I had good management (my manager and director) otherwise the company as a whole treated sales first and everyone else as second class citizens almost.

they are not upfront with many things, and I have realized that once I have moved to a different company.

people mainly stay because its a fun place to work, otherwise this company treats its employees very badly...thinking that a free lunch and making you stay till 12 am on month ends somehow makes up for the paltry salaries.
Pros
the people (anyone other than the senior leadership team)
Cons
Not as transparent as other companies, very poor compensation
