US Central Account Manager (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 16 April 2018
Softchoice at the time was mainly focused on software and hardware selling and not SAAS. it has seen many changes since I was there. Sales roles are a perfect way to start career, and you learn many tools for future growth and dev. in career here.
Wonderful opportunities to learn and move into different departments. Workplace culture was great, good at keeping employees motivated. Fridays were the days to unwind after a long week with a beverage to celebrate a productive work week.

Great environment to work at. Learned a lot and have the ability to shadow and learn from other employees. Created a number of process flow maps, trained a number of employees on the transition from NexInnovations to Softchoice.
Operations (Former Employee) – Toronto – 20 October 2014
It is a fun place to work and I had good management (my manager and director) otherwise the company as a whole treated sales first and everyone else as second class citizens almost.
they are not upfront with many things, and I have realized that once I have moved to a different company.
people mainly stay because its a fun place to work, otherwise this company treats its employees very badly...thinking that a free lunch and making you stay till 12 am on month ends somehow makes up for the paltry salaries.
the people (anyone other than the senior leadership team)
Not as transparent as other companies, very poor compensation

Good managers, difficult management model- potential of having multiple manager as an Inside Sales Rep. Directly reporting to Inside Manager but also responsible to Outside Managers. Fair Salary- some potential to earn a little more on commission. Not enough more. Great Culture. Can get consume by work if you let it.
