I had worked for them for over 6 years, and had been ignored every time i wanted to discuss avancement. At the time i quit as a Supervisor i was down to mainly 6 hour days (minus the half hour "mandatory" unpaid lunch). Extreme favoritism and downright bullying from management. Head office refuses your right to the HR contact info. They protect only their own.
They give you the mandatory raise, then drop your hours.
Ect ect ect ect ect......

The meat ads often make for an abusive workload for cutters, and as if that weren't enough, the office creates a host of other products for the cutters to do as well. The boxed beef that comes from the warehouse became heavier - often up to 75 and 80 lbs. The meat cooler is used for storing overnight deliveries of HMR and Deli along with the fresh and processed meats. Needless to say, mornings are often not very pleasant. Not a great place to be a meat cutter.

Managers always treat you like a number and always make sure to point out the bad and very rarely the good. No room for promotion unless you want to spend most your life ag the store with very little increase in pay. Not a good career choice for anyone who enjoys a personal life

Management doesn’t communicate effectively, favourites chosen which causes drama. Treated poorly for not enough hours or pay. Their bottom line is the most important thing to do them.
