Smith's is a fabulous place to work. Very welcoming and kind staff to work with. The food is very good and you don't have to wait very long for it to be ready .

Fast paced work environment
Server/Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Winnipeg, MB15 October 2018
- Arrive at work 15 minutes prior to your shift starting, and prepare to work anywhere from 8-10 hours without prior notice.
- You learn great customer services skills and patience when dealing with Management.
- Managers are moved around often so there is much disorganization.
- Most enjoyable part of the job was the 50% off food but it was only allowed on your shift break and would only be allowed up to a maximum of $5.00 off your meal.
Pros
Steady clientele
Cons
Lack of management structure

Good place to work and there is good food
Hostess (Former Employee) –  Winkler, MB12 July 2018
A typical day at work was usually busy and we would have waiting lists and everyone was usually running around and trying to make sure everyone was taken care of. I learned to be quick on my feet and to always make sure to double check things if unsure of something. The manager was usually at the business interacting and talking with everyone and helping out where ever she/he could. *I enjoyed the food there for the reason that there was a variety of food to choose from and whatever you did choose was still good.
Pros
really good food/good hours
Cons
bad management

Management wasn't the best. Nice person but couldn't follow through. Hours were slim and the scheduling sucked. Coworkers were frustrating, and tended to mix personal life with work life/
