On opening day, guests lined up and waited for more than two hours to get in through the door to enjoy some of our signature buttermilk pancakes! Smitty's was an instant hit! And, more than 60 years later, Smitty's™ continues to build on the success of the first day because our franchisees operate their locally-owned restaurants as dedicated members of your community, and have been vital to our growth and success.
