Deception is the key to this business. Great service is not the key, it is how many times you need to lie to a customer to exact the most profit out of each customer. If you like to lie to people sleep country is for you
its warm, get to dress nice
a bunch of lying sharks that will skate you at a moments notice
Straight commission, otherwise you make minimum wage for hours worked. If you're in Halifax you will not make that much money especially if you get posted to the downtown store, management is sexist and grossly unprofessional. You will have unlimited freedom to do whatever you want with this job, no micromanagement.
Sales Associate (Former Employee) – Ottawa, ON – 30 April 2018
Too much hours for the salary , you have to constantly lie to customer . They basically teach you how to lie all the time, you don't really have a choice since its only commission. They try to make you think that they are like a family but it's not true at all . If you wanna become sick go work there a depression is the only way out . By the way you have a meeting a month and they don't pay you .
