No they do not require ur sin

SIN is not required unless you want to use it as proof that you can legally work in Canada.

As a self-employed courier, it is your responsibility to report your earnings on your tax return each year. And although Skip The Dishes does not provide a T4A, they still provide monies paid to each courier along with the name and address of each courier as part of their corporate tax filing. CRA does not need a SIN to identify couriers; they can always use other means.

Skip requires you to have these documentation in order for you to work for them

1) are you eligible to work in Canada
2) valid drivers license in your province or state
3) Proof that the vehicle is in your name and registered
4) Proof that you have insurance they don’t care what kind of insurance as long as you are insured

And I suggest if you do skip the dishes and you do get into an accident hide your bags or three bags in the window

They didn’t ask for sin, but they always ask for eligibility to work in Canada. Study permit holder with eligibility to work off campus and open work permit holder can also work. However you have to report it to cra at the end of year, as your income.

They don't need your SIN but they do a background check. If your aren't a Canadian citizen then you won't get a job. A Canadian license is required though.

I did not require my SIN number. You have to sort your own tax out. I also installed the MileIQ app so that I can log my kilometers for business use and claim tax back!
